EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Richard Rauda

6 Jul

The famous Greek philosopher Plato once said, “Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” Simply put, the world cannot function without great music. Music has been around forever and over the years has evolved into many different forms, adopting many new pieces of technology along the way. While this is great, there is nothing more awesome than the sound of an acoustic guitar and the voice of a true singer-songwriter. We recently had the chance to spend some time with up and coming musician Richard Rauda.

Where Has Trent Been?

9 Nov

So it’s occurred to me that it’s been awhile since I’ve posted an article, YouTube video, or shown any signs of life. Well, I assure you that I am in fact still alive and well. During this period of being gone the blog has turned one year old! I can’t believe I started this blog over a year ago now. Time really does go fast. Within this past year I’ve had some really great experiences, met some great people, and have expanded my reader base.  The reason for my absence is mainly due to an increasing amount of factors that can simply be summed up as “Life.” I’ve been intrenched in a large amount of work that has finally began to pay off. Which means, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me in the coming days. I’ve got my hands on some great new filming equipment, finished a few screenplays, and have connected with some great individuals. In fact, we hope to be releasing a web series in the coming months.

I intended for this year to be the year of huge change but looking back I failed to realize that before you can do anything, you must first lay the groundwork for success. I am proud to say that, I am well on my way to achieving the goals that occupy my dreams at night and my thoughts by day. I’m the kind of guy that is not happy with doing a single thing. That explains why I’ve ventured into the world of music production. Dubstep to be exact. I’ve begun to create music under the pseudo “Battle Attack.” Here’s one of the songs I’ve created.

I think it is important to always follow your dreams no matter who you are or what they may be because although you may be here today, tomorrow is not certain. Live life without regrets and do as many things as you possibly can. Be you.

Each film explored a different subject that directly related to teenage culture in a way that was not only entertaining but also innovative. Continue reading
